Fits like original equipt manufacture product
Fits my older original Craftsman Rider Mower ys4500 w/42" deck, I ordered the same chute 162803 from Sears Parts Direct and they turned the order over to "Yard Products that is supposed to be OEM" for this model Grass Catcher and Chute System. Their chute was an one inch too sloppy big front and back letting grass blow out and the chute stops up. Plus it didn't fit the top chute.
GOOD CHUTE
THIS WAS MUCH LOWER THAN WHAT SEARS HAD THEIRS PRICED AT. SAME ITEM EVEN THE BOX HAS SEARS ON IT SO THIS ORDER WAS LESS & THATS WHAT WE ALL LIKE TO SAVE MONEY.

Good replacement for Sears Parts
I live on a rocky terrain and constantly crack these housings while mowing...

this is THE SAME ITEM as sold by sears direct parts....

far less expensive!

I also have purchased the pre-assembled with the lower bearings and
shaft assembly already installed in the housing...

It is far lower in price.....then sears parts direct... for the same item...

Mowing Blade Spindle
This is a great alternative to replacing the whole item. I have had these break more then once, due to the very rocky and uneven ground I have to mow. I usually replace the whole piece but I have noticed that the bearing are never worn out when I do. So this time I tried getting just the outside mounting piece and it worked great. It's easy to knock out the old bearings and replace them into the new housing. Then just pump in new grease and your are ready to go, and in the process you save yourself a lot of money.

The housings can only take so much. Stay outta solid steel. This was a great replacement and exact fit. Great price & shipping

Faster than Sears and Cheaper
Glad I found this online beats the hell out of loading tractor and taking it to sears , which means they would have had the tractor for months for a simple repair. Also need to replace the belts , again , found them here online thru this same company. Couldn't ask for better. My advice for anybody looking to buy a new tractor, stay away from the craftsman. The decks and pulleys just don't hold up like their tools do. If you already have one like I do you might want to consider replacing worn parts with the heavy duty ones. This company is the place to do it also, very happy with the service and the quick shipping.

Good Idea
Since it is winter here my husband has not installed these yet. A friend of ours has this installed on his mower deck and loves the ease of attaching a hose that washes out all the stuck on grass in minutes. My husband was so impressed when he saw his, he ask me to check an see what was available for our riding lawn mower. We were very happy to find these on Amazon.
