As you can read above I received a empty box with a hole in it. This pittiful service by seller and Amazon, because I can't get in touch with anyone. I will not use Amazon again until this gets resolved. So if you have no intentions of resolving this cancel my account. This has taken alot of my personal time. Husqvarna 48 inch Riding Mower Mulching Kit
This kit is a BARGAIN at $39.99 (super saver shipping = free) when compared to brick & mortar stores (or other online sites) at $49.99 and up. It's made by Electrolux and has adapter hardware (nuts, spacers, bolts) included. I ordered it for a Husqvarna 48-inch riding mower and the kit included all mounting bolts, mulching blades, cover plate, and instructions for step-by-step mounting plus pictures. Except for the spacer bolt assembly (not needed), everything went on easily. The cover plate is notched for securing it to the mower platform and all items fit exactly. Overall assembly takes about 10 minutes for the cover assembly, and approximately 15-20 minutes for removal of the three (3) original blades and attaching the mulching blades, depending on your degree of handiness. I'd recommend either dropping the mower deck for blade assembly or suspending the machine using drive-up ramps (my preference). Good job Amazon.com for a fine product at a terrific price!!

Same as Craftsman Mulch Kit for 48 in. Deck Tractor
I own a Craftsman 48" Lawn Tractor (model 917.27670). The Sears mulching kit for this mower is item #07124148000. After some research on the internet, I had a hunch that they are the same. When the Husqvarna 954040495 arrived and the owners manual said that it was for model Non MK48A & 241480, I was relieved. This is the exact part that you can buy from Sears for $69.99! Everything fit like a glove. The Sears item shows a picture of a strap which this does not have. The strap is not needed as this item installs beautifully and is almost half price.

I was looking at the same product at lowes checked amazon and it was priced $10 less and didn't have to drive the 60 mile round trip to the store.I ordered it and was very suprised how easy it was to install also impressed with how the cover that came with it fits perfect over the discharge opening of the deck.

Used and not Husqvarna
The box this item comes in is not Husqvarna, it is a cheap knock-off brand. More disturbing is that the mower blades are rusted and used. The mulch cover was also used with scratch marks on it.

Great product, easy to install
This is the easiest mulching kit that I have ever used. Installs in just minutes and you can remove plug in just seconds. Great value.
Are the blades "refurbished"?
Got this product for my Craftsman LT1000 lawn tractor. Both the blades and the mulch plug fit well, but the blades looked "refurbished". The blades were chipped, with imperfections, poorly painted with areas that seemed like the paint was used to cover up rust. The blades were not even sharpened so I had to do that myself. They were packaged in the original sealed box, so they must have come in such conditions from the manufacturer. Not a good showing for the manufacturer.

OEM Replacement I was looking for
Bent the original blade on a stump and couldn't find a Poulon blade anywhere. Took a chance on this one and found that this blade is actually a little wider and "beefier" than the original. Good vacuum and cutting. Happy I bought the "Premium" blade.

Great shave!
This blade did everything I wanted - clean cut, and very few clippings left lying on the lawn. Great value, and no dumping clippings every few minutes.

Fit perfectly I have purchased several of these blades because in Missouri we have lots of rocks and when you have teenagers mowing your going to loose a blade or two these are heavy duty and work great!

Good blades
I have used these for a while now and have not seen any issues with them. I didn't install them so I can't say whether or not it was easy. They mulch grass/weeds well so no more piles of grass!
