Fit perfectly and no leaks
Bought this when my original gas tank on my Sears lawn tractor developed a bad leak. I had to figure out how to get the old tank out and get the new one in, but after an hour or so, had it all hooked up. It performed flawlessly for all of last season. No more leaks!
Good part
I have a Craftsman Mower I bought used and damaged the fuel tank (which mounts under the seat) when I lifted it by the body (a stupid move on my part and expensive mistake). On a whim, I obtained the part number from the parts manual and entered in the Amazon search engine. To my surprise and with great delight I found it was available through Amazon!! Oh Boy!!! No dealing with Sears!!! No over-priced parts, no back orders, no outrageous shipping fees, no bs!! Part arrived quickly and fit great, it's possibly OEM. While the job to replaced the tank was less than fun, especially detaching/attaching the fuel line at the tank (hint remove at fuel filter first and back slightly so it will slack) I was very happy with the fit, function, price, and shipping time. Recommend highly.
