I purchased three individual replacement blades for my 48" Husquvarna riding mower at my local Sears store. They ended up costing $79 including tax. When I got home with them I decided to look online and see if I could get a better deal. Amazon comes through again.
This three-pack of blades by Poulan are EXACTLY the same as the ones I purchased from Sears. The part numbers are off by one digit (the Sears blades are painted red, the Poulan blades are unpainted). I never see the blades once they're installed, so not having paint on them was a non-issue.
If someone thinks that the blades are protected by the paint, I would imagine that would be true for the first few cuts, but then the paint would wear away anyway. It was a no brainer for me to return the Sears blades and use the Poulan ones I purchased through Amazon!!
