These shafts are perfect fit, and work perfectly with my Craftsman. I did a little research on line and found Sears part numbers that were cross-referenced with Husqvarna part numbers. Half the cost of Sears!!!
In response to the other reviewers. One person probably ordered the wrong part. Since many other models have parts that are almost identical, they probably ordered by what "looked" correct instead of cross referencing part numbers. If your old nut doesn't fit, you probably ordered the wrong shaft, or you had the wrong shaft in the first place.
The other review talks about broken mandrels. I have to replace mandrels constantly because I have a lot of rocks on my property. You break a mandrel when you hit a large or immovable object. The mandrels are made out of cast aluminum and crack very easily. It has nothing to do with how tight the nuts are. The shaft and blade nuts will naturally become very tight due to the rotation of the entire assembly.

Bought to replace the spindle on the craftsman mower. Fit perfectly and works as intended. Would purchase again if needed.

Better than original Arien driver mower spindle that striped and destroyed the pulley. This is a good buy and is a low price too!!
